My name is Eva, and I'd love to be your photographer!
I know there are lots of us, who photograph sweet little blessings and baby bumps. Many baby photographers do a great job! If I were a saleswoman, I'd have an entire pitch ready to throw your way complete with facts, data, and impressive information to sway you in my direction. But I'm not Eva the saleswoman, I'm Eva the family photographer!
So here's what I'll tell you: Photography is my thing! I've been doing it for years and not only am I pretty good at it, but I also have a great time working with clients and delivering pictures on a daily basis. Whether I'm snapping pictures, editing photographs from a session, or talkin' it up with clients old and new, my life absolutely revolves around my camera (and my family, too, of course). It's safe to say that I thrive behind the camera. It's where I live and it's also what fuels my life.
My sessions are always relaxed, yet professional, and I'm ultra-efficient when it comes to the business side of things, as well. I do everything in my power to get your pictures to you quickly and just the way you like them. I've also been told I have the patience of a saint with children, so I've got that going for me, as well. Seriously, though, don't take my word for it. A little about me
How it all started
In 2002, it was my husband who took notice of my love for photography and encouraged me to get enrolled in photography courses, and from that moment onward, I was 100%, hands down hooked on photography. From there, I only grew more passionate about photography and the rest is history. With my husband's insistence and a healthy urging from family and friends, I dove right into the realm of professional photography.
I'm not going to lie: it was scary to drop my safe job and focus solely on taking pictures and starting my own business, but it was something I was so passionate about -- and something I mulled over for several years -- that I knew it was the right choice.
It's been eight years since I "went pro" and my life has taken a major turn for the amazing. Day in and day out, I spend my hours meeting with incredible clients, welcoming clients at my studio, or heading to gorgeous on-location sessions and then editing the pictures that we took.
My favorite part, though? The reactions of my clients when they get their photographs. Knowing that I helped them preserve a moment in time -- for the rest of their lives and for future generations -- is a feeling that will never, ever get old.

I'm the face behind the camera at Eastbrook Photography. I'm a mama of three boys and I've also got a wonderful husband who's been with me for over 18 years. I couldn't do all this without him, that's for sure! I love plants, but can't keep them alive and as much as I really try I'm not the best cook. My mother in law teases me that my cooking is missing "heart" but it's only because my heart is behind the camera and not in the kitchen.
I honestly feel so lucky to get to do what I love! My motto is " I don't shoot what it looks like, I shoot what it feels like" because photography is such a beautiful way of taking us back to those moments in time captured in photos and bringing back all of those wonderful feelings

I'm a photographer but more importantly, I'm a mom who is no stranger to colicky babies, toddler meltdowns, moody pre-teens, or camera-shy spouses.
When I photograph your family you can be confident that I will be patient, understanding, and most importantly do whatever it takes to get your kiddos to smile for their portraits.
I'm a pro at making weird, silly faces, funny noises, and talking about farts and butts if that's what it takes. I'm completely fine with your kiddos wondering
